Attack Upon Sustainable Civil Society
Preamble:
The 'GIBear' hears 'DrFool-fool' (See Preamble of "Discourses" for an identification of this Order)
objecting that the Sapien has never achieved/established/livedIn/Enjoyed benefits of Sustainable Civil Society.
Now, no claim is being made by the 'GIBear' that in the examples (below) there was perfection.
But then again perfection, or Utopia, was never a goal of these societies.
Possibly because their citizens,and leaders, were conscious of the "GreatWisdoms"(especially #8,and consequently #6)
and were aware of the grief and bloody consequencies resulting from Sapien attempts to establish utopia on The3RdPlanetOfSol.
Its Citizens also, dispite liberating themselves from stifling cultural Victorianism,and the(political )Colonialism/Imperialism Mind-set ,
were sensible enough not to violate GreatWisdom#13,and descend into crudeness/vulgarity.
There was crime(some times horrendous murders),rare instances of rioting,occational large-scale civil disobedience, Inequality;Racism;Discrimination of various sorts
Mainly leftover pathologies from recent European colonial imperialist activity(Even within the former imperialist power itself-- British Isles --).

But,on the whole,there was stability,order,peace without excessive public display of force by Law Enforcement/Security forces

Appropriate decorum is valued. Uniforms are worn to School.
There is a noticable difference in how one is dressed for attending School versus
a Weekend Barbecue in the backyard of one's home.

The most fundamental duty of Government:
To apply objective (by removing individual,hence subjective) Justice from decision of individuals For the most serious of crimes.
--By not applying the DeathPenalty for murder -- then chaos/breakdown of CivilSociety quickly follows.
- Democratic mechanisms exist for choosing political leaders and establishing laws,rules,regulations that guide the actions/affairs of Members/State,organizations, citizens.

for the establishment of Government-- was never allowed to trump/overwhelm the collective good or General welfare.

An Individual works and accumulates X amount of money[be it USD;GMark/Euro;Yen;GBPounds; whatever]
That same X amount of money can purchase 2 items(let us say 2 motor vehicles) .
The individual then secures the X amount of currency(never mind how).
5 or 10 years later the same X quantity of money can purchase only 1 motor vehicle.
Is it unreasonable to conclude that half of that Individual's money(and hence work) was stolen?
Even though the X amount of money was stored/ secured for the duration of those 5/10 years and not touched by any other.
Now let us be very careful, the reply here is not to state that this individual should have "invested" this money!
The value added to the Political-Economy by that individual's labor has not lost value(and in many instances has multiplied its initial value!)
Such a reply buys into our current foolish paradigm/Mind-set that money is merely "a means of exchange."
And supports a Cottage Industry of "clever/wise" Financial institutions/Investors that recently
delighted us with the 2005--->20010 "Great Recession."
And that reply shows that you don't get it!
It is at this point that"Inflation" is used as a gimmick( to explain that there is no "SecretThief."
Interesting how this term is defined in the dictionary, As:
The persistent, substantial rise in the general level of prices
related to increase in the volume of money[we just cannot escape the Law of Supply and Demand!].

When in fact quite the opposite is happening:
It is in fact the reluctance/inability/incompetence of Governments to defend the value of national currency,

E.g. - It is better to obtain a loan (rather than to save) when acquiring Goods/Services,
because you will be repaying the loan in future cheaper Dollars/Euros/Yens/BPs etc.

- It is better that our Government permit devaluation of our currency
because this makes our exports cheaper/more competitive.
